BERITS BLOG July 1, 2009 - Interested in cooking classes?  I can come to your home for personal training too if needed.  $20 an hour for 1 person.  Usully 2 hr lesson which prepares that evenings meal and one other to feed 2ppl. April 1, 2009 - Greg is recooping from his injury and pneomonia.  Things are looking like they are getting back to "normal" sometime soon. Feb. 3, 2009 - Grrrrr...so sad I wasn;t picked for "The Next Food Network Star" Show! Nov. 21, 2008 Ladies, remember to check out the recipes section.  I am going to add a bunch of leftover turkey ideas....also, if you have some favorite holiday morning traditions and recipes, email me (add a photo too so I can post you on my website :) Thurs., 11/20 Just had a wonderful time at MOPS meeting.  Ate brunch to 100 of my closest friends :)  Ramie had great Ideas about creating and keeping holiday traditions in our home.  It is so important for our children to do that.  We also heard "Johnny Strat" sing.  What a cutie!  We all probably looked like a bunch of old ladies to this 17 year old.  He is very talented....and a great song writer... (His MySpace is under Johnny Strat Music) Apr.17, 2008 HOW I SPENT MY 38TH BIRTHDAY: 6:30am  Why is Logan up so early?  He usually sleeps until 7 at least!  Get up...get kids ready for school. 7:30am  I get a card from my daughter, Krista, with 2 coupons (so cute) 1 - 15 minute  massage & 1 "fold all laundry" (priceless!) 8am  Drive kids to school...take Logan to gym...work out...get called after 20 minutes because Logan's diaper is stinkin' up the joint...go back to finish workout... 10am  Breakfast w/ friend at Eggs n' Things 11:30am  Pick Krista up (minimum day) it seemed like I just dropped her off!!! 12:30pm  Try to give Logan an early nap (No can do)...tell Krista she needs to practice guitar and do homework. 1pm  Logan is cranky (I wonder why?)  Put him down for nap... I start folding laundry (Krista says I can use the coupon another day :)  1:30pm (Half hour later)  I hear Logan finally falls asleep and know that I will have to wake him in half hour to take Krista to guitar lessons... 2pm  Wake Logan, take Krista to guitar lessons....try driving around for 1/2 hr to see if Logan can sleep a bit more... 2:30pm  Logan's still up, pick up Krista, pick up Connor from school (didn't I just drop him off?)  Come home, walk in and step on a paint pen which squirts all over our year old carpet (doh!)  Ask Krista if I can exchange the "fold all laundry" coupon for a "get out the carpet steamcleaner and clean paint out of carpet" one...she says no (strict refund/exchange policy)  Well then, can I get the 15 minute massage? No, because in 30 min I have to drop her off early at school for Open House! (30 min later): get everyone in car, drop Krista off at school, go home to make dinner (no time to eat out because we have to go back to school for Open House in 1 hr) Greg gets home early:  walks in with an ice cream cake and balloons!  That was nice.  Make dinner for Greg, Connor & Logan and eat 1/4 ice cream cake as my dinner (whatever! it's my birthday!) Go to Open House, Connor wants Jersey Mikes... "but you just ate dinner!"... Connor, "ya, but I'm still hungry" (can't deny a growing boy food)   Say good bye to Krista before leaving school (she volunteered at the front gate to hand out flyers) Oh, she's hungry...."but didn't you eat before Open House?" Nope...she was "busy with her friends"...go back to table to buy Jersey Mikes for Krista....go home... Beg Connor to pick up toys & Greg to put Logan down to sleep...because in 1/2 hr I need to get back in the car and go back to school to pick up Krista!!! 9pm: exhausted...so tie-tie...mix a drink (whatever! it's my birthday!) walk up stairs to crash on bed...walk into room and am reminded about the "Mt Everest pile of laundry" on the bed that I hadn’t finished that day....with Greg laying in bed after pushing the whole pile to my side.........take a drink…gulp…start folding....Connor comes in to say good night - he asked how long Krista’s massage coupon was for...I say "15 min"...he leaves room and comes back in 2 min...."I want to give you a 16 MINUTE massage for your Birthday...that's ONE more minute then Krista's, right?"  :)))))))  10pm:  on my 2nd drink (whatever!  It’s my birthday) put away laundry...kiss the kids goodnight (they are so cute when they sleep)...let dogs out for a final pee…go to bed...Greg is sleeping (he is so cute when he sleeps)...take in the few minutes of quiet time....thank God for a great Birthday :)
