Bread
This bread tastes amazing!  Your family and/or guests will think you visited the local bakery.    This is a great recipe to make with your kids.  There is no kneeding “needed” (get it?) Instead, you allow the dough to slowly rise over a long period of time (Dream: while you go get your nails  Reality: Fold more laundry, pick gum out of your toddlers hair or drive your child to practice).  Enjoy…remember to send me your review of this recipe!

This budget meat loaf saves you in the pocketbook, but not on taste.  Great meal for the family.
Look at whatever is on sale at your grocery store.  This loaf can be made with ground turkey, ground sirloin or beef, or even ground pork.  You can also use two different meats as an option.

Old School

Expand your tastebuds!
A taste of my mother’s homeland.  This rustic recipe is a geat way to expand your (and your kids) taste pallet.  If there is a sale on Lamb and the weather is cool, that is a great sign you need to make this recipe of the old country.

Candy Leftovers

Leftover snickers bars from Halloween make a delicious dessert. Simply chop up leftover candy. Peel, core and slice a few apples. Place them in a baking dish and sprinkle the chopped candy bars over the apples.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Serve alone or with vanilla ice cream.

LEARN TO COOK NEW RECIPES,
HAVE FUN WITH FRIENDS
AND TAKE HOME MEALS!

As most of you know, I LOVE to cook and have been teaching friends and family kitchen techniques and recipes for a few years now.  Many friends have asked for a group lesson which sounds like a fun idea to me.  So, take a look at what I planned and respond if you are interested.  Oh, and please pass on to anyone you think may be interested!

*COST: $30 per person per class (incl. meals!)  *Classes have 5ppl min./15ppl max.  *Classes are taught in my home located in Stevenson Ranch, Santa Clarita, CA.  *Classes range from 2-3hrs  *Most Daytime classes will have Childcare Provided for an extra set of eyes (or four)-a minimal cost of $3-$10 will be added.

CLASS DATES:
Wed., July 22nd @ 2pm, Thurs. July 23rd @ 9am, Mon. July 27th @ 6pm, Tues. Aug. 4th @ 9am and Mon., Aug. 10th @ 6pm
FALL classes will be posted in August.

THEMES:
All who respond as interested will receive a list of exact recipes to choose from.

Appetizers Galore:  In this class, learn 4 or more awesome and easy appetizer recipes for that last minute potluck or dinner party!  Take home enough for "Appetizers for Dinner" night.  The kids love this idea!

Casseroles & Crock Pots, Oh my!:  This class will provide the techniques and recipes for 3-4 casserole/crock pot meals.  Take home 3-4 meals (feeds 4 ppl).

Brunch Recipes:  This class will include 4-5 brunch style recipes (i.e. egg dishes, French toast dishes, quiches, etc.)  You will take home 4 different dishes to feed 2-4 people.

Quick & Easy Dinners:  This class will include quick and easy (plus ways to add additional time, effort and ingredients to make your meal a special one).  Easy or "special", you will find 3-4 recipes you will love!  You will take home 2 full meals (feeds 4 people).

Parent & Tot Meals:  This class will teach you how to prepare adult meals with great toddler meals, using most of the same ingredients, on the side.  Enjoy a great "adult" meal while your toddler/child learns to eat what you are eating, in there own special recipe.  (i.e. Garlic Basil Chicken with Tomato Rice Pilaf w/ Toddler version: Stuffed Chicken Nuggets (w/hidden veggies) and rice).

International Cooking:  A few times a year, I show the kids a map of the world and ask them to pick 3 countries each (6 total).  Then, each night the following week, we cook a different recipe from each country picked.  It is a great way for my kids to learn respect to other nationalities and diverse taste buds :)  At times, the recipes may need to be modified for my kids taste buds so that I can insure a positive experience.  I promise no "Hakarl" from Iceland (putrefied shark) or the Scottish "Haggis" (stuffed animal stomach w/sheep liver, heart....does it really matter what else?)  Other yummy (and somewhat modified) alternatives are promised :)  (i.e. Traditional Spanish Omelet, Moroccan Skewers, etc.)

Organic/Clean Cooking:  Clean recipes using no artificial ingredients.  Fresh foods that taste great.  2-3 recipes to take home to your family.

Vegetarian Recipes:  Learn to cook 4-5 vegetarian recipes.  Take home 2-3 dinners to feed 2 to 4 people.
